ANNOUNCEMENTS

THURSDAY, APRIL 10TH 2025


 

All off campus students that attend a Gateway Dual Credit Program (Gen Ed, Allied Health, Welding) MUST be at school tomorrow morning by 8:20 to help with the Reality Store. 

 

Reminder to the 8th grade students attending the G/T field trip to NKU tomorrow that you will need to bring a packed lunch with you.  You will be called to meet outside the elementary office at 9:00 am.

 

Remember that tomorrow, Friday, April 11th is the last day to buy Prom tickets.  We will be calling the Reds after school to give them our final count.  You will not be able to purchase tickets after Spring Break.  If you have questions, see Ms. Collins as soon as possible.  

 

The Ludlow Community Center is looking for high school volunteers to help with the community egg hunt on April 19th.  If you are interested in this volunteering, please see Mr. McMillen in room M307 to learn more.

 

The City of Ludlow is looking for volunteers to help clean up the Ludlow Memorial Park.  Clean up day is this Saturday, April 12th beginning at 10 am.  Volunteers should wear long pants and boots or closed toe shoes.  Gloves, trash bags and bottled water will be provided to all volunteers.

 

The annual May Festival is back this year!  MayFest will be held on Friday, May 2nd and Saturday, May 3rd.  Each year teachers and families donate items to be put in a themed basket and auctioned off to raise money for the PTO.  This year, the middle school basket theme is “Gift Cards.”  Gift cards of all kinds and denominations will be accepted.  The high school basket theme is “Date Night.”  Items that fit into this basket can include gift cards, tickets to sporting events, concerts or plays, movie passes, etc. Donations can be dropped off in the elementary office by your parents between now and May 2,  or you can drop your donations off to Ms. Mahan in the high school office.  Please be sure to specify which grade level basket you are contributing to.  Stop by the high school office if you have any questions.

Egg & cheese croissant or uncrustable

 

Lunch tomorrow:

Tuna salad sandwich or honey siracha wings

         All off campus students that attend a Gateway Dual Credit Program (Gen Ed, Allied Health, Welding) MUST be at school this Friday by 8:20 to help with the Reality Store.  If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Johnson before Friday.

 

·         Any 8-11th grade student interested in tryout out for next year’s varsity cheer team must sign up with Ms. Wolf by the end of the day. You must have a current physical and complete Final Forms. Tryouts start tonight at 7:30 in the fitness center. See Ms. Wolf for questions.

 

·         If you left a bag of baseball or softball practice clothing in the hallway this morning, please see Ms Mahan in the high school office.

The new soccer coaching staff would like to invite all current 7th -11th grade girls interested in playing soccer next fall (new & returning) and their parents to an informational meeting this Wednesday, April 9th @ 6:30 pm in the high school cafeteria. This meeting is a great chance to introduce yourself and ask any questions you might have. Pizza & drinks will be provided for the athletes.
